UN GROUND PASS AND ACCREDITATION

HCRFF holds consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) as well as accreditations with UNEP, UNCCD, WBGCSO, WTO, UNFCC. Given these affiliations, it is able to request a temporary UN grounds pass for HCRFF members as well as accreditations to members who are interested in attending UN events, conferences, or other programs.

Members who are interested in applying for a grounds pass or would like to obtain accreditation to attend a UN event as an HCRFF representative must submit a written letter of interest in order to obtain a UN Ground Passes and Accreditations  Please allow at least two weeks before your temporary pass or accreditation is approved. Once your grounds pass has been endorsed, HCRFF will send you a signed official letter and a copy of the security form. Member will need to bring a printed copy of the official letter and the security form as well as a valid government-issued picture ID, such as a passport or driver’s license, when you pick-up your pass.

Only HCRFF members are eligible to obtain a temporary grounds pass or an accreditation to attend an event as an HCRFF representative.

Please note there is no guarantee of receiving a grounds pass or an accreditation. Available passes are limited in number and requests may be denied by the UN Security and its organs.

Grounds Passes

  • The UN Pass and ID Office at HQ in New York is located at 320 East 45th Street (between First and Second Avenue). Office hours are 09:00–16:00 Monday to Friday inclusive.
  • The UN Pass and ID Office in Geneva is located at Pregny Gate, Avenue de la Paix, entrance of the United Nations Office at Geneva. Office hours are 08:00–17:00 Monday to Friday inclusive.
